Gonstead chiropractic care can be a pivotal step in your journey towards optimal health and recovery. With a myriad of options available, it’s essential to make an informed choice that aligns with your specific needs. Each of your extremities are rooted in your spine.

Shoulder
The shoulder is a busy, complicated area with lots of moving parts. The problem might be in the glenohumeral joint, the acromioclavicular joint, the sternoclavicular joint, the scapula... honestly, the list goes on! During your exam we check each joint carefully to figure out which one needs attention. But here's the wild part, we always start with the spine. That's right! Sometimes shoulder pain actually stens from your spine. Crazy, but true!
Hand & Wrist
Your hands and wrists do a lot with so many tiny pones and joints working together to let you grip, type, lift and create. Pain and stiffness can come from any number of places: the wrist joint, the knuckles, or the small joints in the fingers. When you come in, once again, we examin each joint closely to pinpoint the exact area that needs to be adjusted.
Surprisingly, sometimes the root cause isn't in the hand or wrist at all, but can actually start in your spine, most likely the neck. If you've been dealing with hand or wrist issues, come in and let us take a closer look. We can help get your hands moving comfortably again.
Elbow
The elbow might not get as much attention as your shoulders or wrists, but it's a critical hinge that lets you lift, throw, push and pull. When you visit, we assess the elbow and surrounding structures to identify exactly what's causing the problem. And you know what I'm about to say... sometimes the surprising culprit isn't even in the elbow! It can stem from the shoulder, neck, or wrist, affecting how the join moves.
With the right adjustmens and care, we can help restore smooth, pain-free motion so your elbows support everything you do.
Knee
Through practice and observation, I've found that problems in the knee often originates somewhere else; whether it's the spine, pelvis, or even the feet. While direct trauma can certainly cause knee issues, most pain without an obvious injury is usually linked to another area of the body. During your visit, we carefully assess your knees along with surrounding structures to uncover the root cause of your pain or discomfort.
Foot & Ankle
The feet are the foundation of your body, supporting every step you take and helping you move through life. They carry you from point A - B, absorb impact, and keep you balanced, so it's no surprise that foot and ankle health is so important.
This is a common area we address in the practice, and we've seen it make a tremendous difference for many patients, improving mobility, reducing discomfort, and enhancing overall movement.
